zombies do not have a finite duration, they won't expire regardless of whatever entity summoning them dying (even the player himself)

summoning new corpses, regardless of the source, replaces old ones

Most of the not-obvious degen was coming from the grayish ground effect for me. It was kinda subtle and hard to see, almost died to it during the portal phase because I kept missing it past all the spectre bullshit going on.
Tentacles seemed to just hit hard from what I noticed. Pretty unsure about a number of mechanics, was just scrambling to avoid everything I could and apply curses/direct minions. It didn't seem too bad of a fight on yellow maps at least. Being a shitbird I did die, but that was some mystifying one-shot the instant he dropped loot.

Because Zombies last forever. The reason people put skeletons on a totem is because they expire rapidly so it just keeps replacing them to meat shield.

All putting zombies on a spell totem does is waste a link. Not to mention probably bug them out since instead of tanking stuff they would just constantly be despawning getting replaced by the new ones the totem spawns.

Incorrect. 6 points (3 Labs)= 2 Ascendancies as each is 3 points from center. Uber lab gives you a new start on top of that as a new start is 2 points away from its base class Ascendancy nodule.
