imo the problem with widowmemer and handsoap is their exponential killing potential. snipers irl are scouts and reconnaissance specialists with weapons accessoried and ammunition tuned for long-distance. They're no more powerful than a machine gun of similar caliber.

I'd love to see snipers increase the effectiveness of their teammates by more universally amplifying their map awareness, just how they provide intelligence to infantry or other ground & air forces irl. both bloo and robin hood already provide this with their x-ray vision and x-ray arrow, respectively
