its easy to use but it has a low maximum effectiveness compared to other rifles that can fire much faster. its low recoil and firerate is great for tracing headshots onto defenders though.

The pistol buff made me start playing shields again. I used to get so frustrated that shooters would abandon you for a quick flank, but now Blitz is legit a solo roamer killer.

That said, a new shield op would be fun. Fuze's shield is trash.

Hate when devs include a gun with specific features IRL but then remove them and nerf it to fit the game balance, why not just chose another gun?

Explain to me how defenders carry two big metal wall barricades around with them. You expect me to believe little Caveira has two big ass metal barricades on her ?

Not to mention that the visual armor and attire of the operator and his/her gameplay armor have no connection whatsoever

there's actually a reason for that. Originally defenders didn't have reinforcements, They were all placed in a big supply crates in the center of the objective that defenders could run to to resupply and obtain reinforcement barricades. Problem was that it took too long to get them all out and placed so they just gave every operator 2 because it wasn't fun standing at a box and holding F several times each round.

you can tell the game went through many cycles of direction and metagame during development, a lot of didn't really come together that meaningfully
defenders are a little too shallow and it's why their gameplay devolves into cheesy shit like runouts and running around like retards
