I've been using using rifles because point strike has higher crit chance and serration has a higher base damage.

I've noticed since putting sacrifice on my sentinel that I'm getting instagibbed much more frequently as well. Even with full health and shields (although, on weaker frames), it seems I occasionally just take a stray shot and get shut down. May just be confirmation bias though as I don't remember how quickly I would occasionally die before using sacrifice
