reassembled custom roms aren't easily edited with standard hacking tools, especially one as advanced as S3C.

Gens Tracer is your best. You'll have to learn to read hexadecimal to be able to read the locations. You'll also have to constantly pause, play, and record each frame location unless it comes with a text dumper (can't remember if it does or not). This is a lot work compared to just grabbing a s3&k disassembly and dropping in some sprites
