Even if you're just starting out or aren't that far into the game, you still provide a bigger chance at better turnip sales, new art pieces in Redd's tent, and more items from Harv's shop. Not to mention bingo numbers if you make snowmen while that's going on.

I had Animal Crossing for awhile but I don't know all the events and content. I'll look into that in the OP. But if I could help even for a little, I wouldn't mind.

Not knowing everything isn't a big deal, it's a very easygoing game. Just play for a few minutes a day and have fun!
It's also a game where the more people you have to play with, the better it gets.

Sunday is the day turnips are bought.
The later weekdays are the times they're usually sold, particularly Friday and Saturday.
The biggest things are probably letting other players know if Retail is buying turnips for a high amount, at least over 100 bells, or if Redd is in town and is selling a genuine art piece that you don't need.

Snowman bingo is also going on right now. You can let other players know what numbers you have available, if any. Other than that, just take your time getting back into the swing of things
