Megaman battle network crossover where the the monsters are all viruses that have gained true free will. Frisk would be Megaman and Chara would be Bass
I'm okay with it. In the long run a relationship probably would have stabilized both of them, and some of the nip artists warmed me up to it, especially the one who draws grown-up indignant Chara with overly cuddly edgegote. Friskriel is cute as well. I think Asriel/Muffet would be cute as well.

If I was honest with myself, I could maybe see it working with a more developed Chara like Truant's, but even most artists still draw Chara as a prick in any image involving the two, shipping or not. I'm not sure why it's such a popular ship when it's so abusive.

A Super Robot Wars-style game would be fun.
They tend to draw Chara being a little shit, but that's pretty damn far away from being abusive. Sure when it involves other things it can become that, but say, claiming Asriel stole a bit of chocolate is not being abusive, don't dilute an otherwise serious term with kiddie bullshit.

If you think that's in 90% of Chasriel pics, you're either lying or you don't look at any of them, which is fine if you don't like it, but see point 1.

Nips have that personality style down to a science so much you either have to willfully misinterpret it to think Chara dislikes him, or you've lived a sheltered internet life.
A crossover doesn't have to be a 1:1 transition from one thing to the other.
It was way more than teasing, though. In this case, it was literally abusive treatment. Of course, more so with the plan, but I find it easier to interpret Chara as not so nice than very nice.
