Flashing Blade was Armor/Infantry only, they've learned to make the fun skills limited like that.

They're technically different from Defiant skills. Defiant skills gives blue stat buffs while Brazen skills are in battle so Bladetomes can't take advantage of them.

i'm surprised by the lack of responses to go for the def or atk boost with spd bane (with qr)

since fury with qr seems a bit counterproductive to mix on the speed one, and it only really prevents doubles i cant see her getting very many without qr.

The scroll idea is a good idea. I've foddered stuff into units only to get something better for them later and regret putting the other skill on them, that would give me a chance to fix that.

I really want another way to grab cool skills that doesn't require blowing up rare units so I can get my merges in on them. At least with the Guidance Seal I don't need to blow up Tana if I want to use other versatile fliers outside of pure flier teams. Skills like Close/Distant Defense can be doubled up on with seals though, so units like Sigurd still don't have that kind of luxury yet.
