I don't understand why people think this is a good idea.

Making a game is expensive as fuck and expecting a studio that isn't exactly rich to throw away their year old property to make a brand new slightly different version of that property seems like a really bad idea. I mean how different would it even be? Why wouldn't you just update the graphics and add more characters and slap an 'Ultimate' name on the old game?

because MVCI was such a low budget experiment that "fixing it" will cost as much as just making a multiplayer only MVC4 service game to begin with, which would be 10 times better. MVCI is unsalvageable from a business perspective.

I mean, which pad are you using? The original Dualshock 4 only connects through Bluetooth regardless of whether or not you have it plugged in. The new models run over USB and I'm sure a standard smartphone micro USB is fine.

you could easily get the casual market with a free to play fighting game with actual popular marvel characters (not movie shit) and good graphics, no question about it. it would be a way bigger success than mvci. but the budget could be so low that you wouldnt even need them, and the low budget would still make a great game since its multiplayer online only.
