Nocturne is way better than P3. In terms of Atlus games in general it's second only to P5

I know this is from last night but
If you play subbed then you miss out on shit which wasn't translated in the anime cutscenes. Like background noise related to the story, e.g. at the beginning of the game, the news broadcast said there were no casualties from the train disaster. If your nip isn't too good then that's something you won't catch. There are a number of times where background noise wasn't translated when it should have been.

Arguably 1 year is exactly the amount of time a persona game should take as long as you match your playtime to the season.

Always wanted to do a daily stream where I play out the calendar day every day in a Persona game.

I tried replaying P4. Made it about as far in as Teddie's appearance and I wanted nothing more of it. I fear that if I try to replay P3 I'll drop it similarly as soon as the main loop of the game starts. I really don't want to label P5 as my favorite because it came out so recently but I'm not left with much of a choice here.
