Hector: built in QR2 weapon leaves B skill open, comes with DC included. Large variety of possible builds to take advantage of his highly optimal stat spread
Chrom: Green effie. Extremely high threat on initiation and uses DC effectively
Lissa: Sheena 2.0. Very efficient mixed wall with huge BST. Needs DC.

Hector remains the king mainly because his prf has the best DC synergy possible. The introduction of new armour-only B skills only makes him even better. He can now run Bold Fighter to delete reds that attempt to bait him.

They're obviously better, but better versions of existing units don't make the original unit any worse, especially when they're highly invested into already. +10'ing a 5* exclusive is also a very expensive endeavor.

If you're willing to splurge for units that perform better, you are IS' target demographic. They don't want people with 5* + 10 units to coast and never pull for a red sword again.

My Chrom is +Def/-Spd, which I think is pretty good.

I can't decide how to build him. Should I give him DC? I've only got one Hector to spare for fodder and I'm not sure how I feel about using him for this, but the Sack is goddamn good for DC.

Chrom and Tharja are the best ones because they're minemaxed as fuck. Robin (and to a lesser extent Lissa's) balanced stats will hurt him more in the long run.

Why am I so ADD about this game?
I was saving up orbs to roll for a lyn merge at the last day of the refinery banner, but now I can't help wanting to dump everything on christmas and start building an armour team. I want W~Tharja because the idea of an armour mage sounds like fun but I don't have armour march and I don't have any other armours except BK so this is a terrible idea.
