I didn't really notice until now but the OP of the last thread was lacking some shit, I don't know why but someone made a new OP for some reason but didn't include a lot of shit in it. Please use this one for whoever creates the new thread, thank you.
Reminder that Kyuuyaku apologists deserve to be gassed.

Here is 200 macca, now fuck off whitefag.
Noah James
Does anyone seriously Whitefag? I do it ironically.
Caleb Bennett
They are few but I know there are genuine whitefags. This is Veeky Forums user, of course we habe people who genuinely want to destroy the universe.
Evan Martinez
Are Daisoujou and Hell Rider considered to be the easier Fiends? Just kinda wrecked both without too much effort. Also, I can't believe Dark Might works even in boss fights.
Levi Sanders
Hell biker is pretty easy but daisoujou honestly gave me more trouble then matador my first playthrough. All my demons were physical focused and I didn't have fog breath.
Dylan Jenkins
>didn't have fog breath Oh yeah, I can see how that'd go poorly. Fog breath is insanely good, even if most bosses have dekunda.
Kayden Long
>even if most bosses have dekunda hell i'd rather have the boss spending a turn casting Dekunda rather then smacking me in the face
Charles Allen
This, 100%. Every turn a boss spends dispelling buffs/debuffs is a turn they don't spend slaughtering your party.
Luke Reed
Also true, had to abuse that against Raidou.
Bentley Walker
Thoughs on the /v/ drawthreads?
Jayden Perry
It's actually pretty well drawn, i wish i were that good
Matthew Carter
if the face wasn't a meme i'd love this
Asher Hernandez
The alignment lock Gore fight is about to make me submit to neutral after all
Jeremiah Watson
Trash. /v/'s, /a/'s and /co/'s drawthreads are the worst in the site.
I really hate how fast the /v/ ones are, that and it's /v/ so pretty much anything can easily derail the threads.
Tyler Gomez
in a lot of cases half the fight is just bringing a bunch of buffs/debuffs and the right magatama things will shift around more as you get further on but it generally boils down to using the right tool for the job

Is SMT1 worth playing? I kind of started a while back but got sort of lost after you go through some tunnel or some shit (been a while don't remember 100%) pretty early on into a pretty open city area and got sick of wandering around looking for where I was supposed to go with that high encounter rate, dunno if I should try again or just skip to SMT2
Liam Cook
What makes the Chronicles edition of Nocturne different from Maniax besides Raidou?
Grayson Anderson
All these Aigis pics make me HORNY. I want more!
Aiden Morales
>Jimenez goes against Zelenin because she brainwashes people with her song >proceeds to brainwash everyone on the ship into siding with the demons ok then
Aiden Rogers
Bosses have new, improved AI and attacks also have some new additional effects. Lucifer's High King attack has a dekaja effect that removes your buffs in addition to damaging you for example. Also for the translation some things that were weirdly translated due to the six digit limit in demon classes names for example.
Jack James
In other words,
Brody Allen
Ass.
Gavin Campbell
Honestly no, it's pretty shit. It's got simple enemies and bosses that aren't a challenge at all, plus it gives you frustratingly vague hints on where you're supposed to go next, as well as a weak but not totally terrible plot. Don't even get me started on the encounter rate you mentioned. Even with a guide I hated it but my autism forced me to play through because I wanted to at least experience every game chronologically if it was available to me. 2 is excellent in comparison and while I did have some wander moments I never consulted GameFAQs or some shit because it generally only took me an hour to stumble back onto the plot. Plus there are fortune tellers but there's a few moments where they're not available to you. Oh yeah, and best of all, the encounter rate is actually fucking reasonable. It's my favorite game in the series alongside SJ.
The only thing 1 has going for it is the soundtrack.
I actually make it a point to blacklist Aigis and by extension p*Rsona whenever I go to the booru because it's just that cancerous.
Michael Moore
What a ride. It took me 4 tries to beat the last bosses, kind of annoying that the second one has a move that relies on luck. It's pretty staggering how much the gameplay improved from the previous entries in the franchise. I was expecting it to some degree just because of Nocturne's reputation, but it exceeded my expectations. I wish the Reason representatives had been more characterized, it's kind of hard to side with any of them because they basically just go batshit insane off screen and only appear to preach to you. Also fuck rerolling fusions, shit drove me insane near the end of the game to the point where I said fuck it and just stuck with one team for the last ~15 hours.
Logan Jackson
On a side note, how long are the Raidou games? I was not expecting Nocturne to take this long.
Jayden Sanders
I think Raidou 1 took like like 22-27 hours. I should set up my PS2 and beat Raidou 2.
Brandon Nelson
We Can
Austin Baker
Daisoujo can be an RNG fest if you're unlucky with the instakill spam. Hell Rider is on the easier side, mostly because he's unavoidable
Yes Dark/Bright Might is kinda retarded
Andrew Gomez
Dark/bright might are balanced by the fact that they're useless outside of new/full kagutsuchi though, whereas plain old Might is always active.
Nolan Collins
Reasons in general feel like an underdeveloped concept. Characters like Yuko, Futomimi, and Sakahagi should have been rrason bearers as well and extend outside of the L/C/N system.
The Raidou game are excellent, start them immediately.
Yeah but it's very easy to just enter a boss battle with the right cycle. I never found Might to increase crit rate at all. It's just that both Divine Shot and Deadly Fury have naturally insane crit rates.
Ayden Collins
Assuming you know when a boss fight is coming, that is. If you're playing blind, a lot of boss fights will catch you off guard, which is where might is better. Might's effect is less noticeable than bright/dark might though because it's always active.
Jonathan Evans
There's a little pop up for when a crit occurs because of Might. I think it's pretty decent on demons with attack all, but outside of that it's crap. It's pretty hard for a boss fight to catch you off guard in Nocturne. You always get a warning before entering an area with a boss in it, and a chance to back out.
Thomas Clark
The game does tell you something like "You feel like shitting your pants right now, prepare the buffs". I don't recall Nocturne doing surprise bosses.
Even then. You can always fuck up, reload the save and then come back.
Mason Sullivan
Is SMT2's story mostly standalone or will I enjoy it more if I played SMT1 first?
Nathaniel Moore
Pretty standalone except for a few callbacks. The setting is a result of the end of 1's Neutral route after all.
Nathan Rogers
How did Kaneko do it? How did he make the perfect design?
Elijah Gutierrez
i want to wear it in public but i'd get stared at so hard
this, I quit drawing there a couple years ago because of how fucking awful the threads are. You can post anything but it doesn't matter if it isn't lewd shit or waifu trash. People also request the same thing several times even after getting deliveries, and pretty much take up multiple posts and artists who could be doing something else, especially a fun request instead of some fapbait.
Robert Lopez
The mechanics of smt1 along with the interface are shit. Honestly if you care about the story continuity, then just look over the smt1 plot and skip right ahead to smt2. SMT2 has relatively better mechanics and a much better interface.
Juan Rivera
Personally, I didn't have a problem with artists fulfilling porn requests. People should draw whatever they feel like, even if it's just masturbation material for a stranger on the internet. Hell, I saw some dudes improve a lot and achieve internet fame and start getting money because of it (e.g. Bardan). That's fucking awesome and I hope they're doing great. But I agree with your every other point. It's such a pain in the ass to see YEAR OLD requests still being posted, or just slightly different requests using the same reference sheet as one that just got delivered. Or realizing that 50% of the undelivered porn requests are all made by the same guy. Not to mention the shitstorms over flavor of the month characters, holy fuck.
Hunter Garcia

>not liking old and clunky games makes you a casual there's something to be said about people who complain about difficulty in smt but 1 is just not fun to play with all the cumbrous shit. also the cathedral is fucking retarded. i pity the chaosfag that has to navigate through it more than once

SMT really is quite fortunate in how much genuinely high quality fan art it gets.

All megatens are worth playing unless you're a spoiled casual. SMT2 is not much different so if you absolutely can't stand it, it's better if you stick to the modern games and accept your place as a second-class /smtg/ citizen.
Juan Richardson
Are you the retard that complains about KMT "ruining" the dumpster fire that is MT1?
Jackson Sanders
>1 is just not fun to play The story alone should make SMT1 fun to play. You're just disappointed with it because you have become used to the game mechanics of the modern titles. Which is why it is recommended to play the games in chronological order.
Daniel Brooks
>muh shitty old games!!!! They are trash and you are retarded for pretending to enjoy them.
Evan Price
>You're not having fun! You're only having FAKE FUN! THE GAMES ARE SHIT! SHIT REEEEEEEEEE
You're trash and you are retarded for being this autistic about what other people like. The games are fine, they only even feel dated because of how much fucking polish is in the newer titles. Get the fuck out you fucking casual.
Caleb Anderson
And who are you to judge whether someone is genuinely enjoying something or just pretending? You're arrogant.
