Since Zoiniggers go up in HP after their conjunction turn (or die if they don't), there is at least value in 2, and probably 3 katanas. If you use mostly axes, or less claws than axes, then 3 katanas is just strictly required. These cutoffs are assuming silly shit like pure claw grids.
I pegged katana stats at colossus omega, the most pedestrian of FLB katanas. It might be slightly higher. I doubt it will be any lower.

Gaining HP is always nice, but you lose damage unless you go double FLB Bahamuts, in which case you aren't really gaining damage either, just getting on par for the privilege of getting some HP.
It's an okay build for one fight (Ubaha HL), but mediocre for everything else.
