if you've died more than 3-5 times by then you're either missing some essential stats or you're doing something terribly wrong
at some point you do have to consider what you want to do with your passive tree and what kind of gearing you want to work towards
but by then you should have an idea of what's going on unless you're retarded, or just go and actually read the guide
til 70ish a 5L (I didn't even have tabula) and ullr is all you need really
