Midshadow is barely losing anything and it gets this and Aisha. It's insane. They really needed to print more for the other playstyles though.

They have Aisha on turn 5 or Ceres that murders any 2def nigga. This guy is obvious setup for balanced headlessman.

Most midshadow lists are beating aggro even without using db while it's here. Aggro will be weaker in the expansion so it's probably not a problem running new dude.

I think the issue is more faster midrange decks. Let's say portal storms your face for 5 damage on turn 5 and 6 then you drop this thing. You're basically dead. Or if Rune is busy burning your face off you won't even get a chance to drop this.

This is a list I just made, it should be a very nice deck for a beginner. You will learn how to play it by yourself. Your vahallan general is an ok addition, but you have opened ALL of your packs and only got those golds you'd better

If. Portal is another story but the dirt match up is close to even right now and that deck is hit harder than midshadow going forward. The card isn't an auto include but the worst case scenario you have is one where Shadow probably wasn't winning anyways.

4 face burn if they have no banish is granted (assuming you have 4 shadows) and they have to trade it but it does nothing on its turn so kind of meh overall

It's great for reanimate shenanigans. You bury it first, then on T8 you reanimate it for 5PP and still have 3PP for some other stuff.
If you evolve it it's at least 7dmg to face unless they banish it.
