Dominions is a fantasy turn-based war game created by two dudes. One of them is a teacher. The game combines a simple presentation with an extremely wide array of strategic options, including over 3000 units, 900 spells and 400 magic items. Turns are resolved simultaneously, with players planning battles rather than directly controlling them. It has simplistic graphics but is easily moddable and extremely deep. Basically, it's an autist’s wet dream of a war game.

Normally I'd say Valanis is shit (it is balance-wise), but even Valanis is better balanced than random gen, and its one of maybe 4-5 maps of any decent size that actually exist in dom5.

Kurple: so revised conclusion: order1-2 gives nice gold events order3 gives nice events, but 50% diminishing return compared to order1-2
turmoil1 gives pretty good events too. only need 1 for events
prod/sloth does not affect gold events significantly. however, sloth gives -tax,-income events so bad.
heat gives no events cold gives -gold events
luck obviously gives lots of gold events. luck1~3 all give good return on investment. max if possible even unluck gives gold events. but they really suck.
magic1~3 all give very nice gold events. gems are not included in the analysis, but they are give in magic. unmagic does not give any gold events at all
