I'm still not satisfied with it. Now you have the choice of either skipping the gacha entirely, which takes away all the fun, or sitting through the same unskippable curtain as before. You also can no longer see how many dupes and levels you have on the fairies you just rolled, which is annoying because I use the levels as indicators of which fairies are useful, so they actually made things worse as far as I'm concerned. They should just make the curtain skippable like everything else.

Guy updated the Yuusha simulator. Now has music, KuMeYu mode, weapon selection(Effects gameplay, but not sure how exactly), and some other balance changes.

The first manga got cancelled; the new one is up to the plot of episode 4 right now, but it doesn't get typeset. The manga is pretty much a straight adaption of the WaSuYu anime, while the LN has many parts that are different (and often no longer canon), so if you already saw the anime version it's better to read the LN.
