team games are always 20x easier than 1v1, more shitters play 2v2/3v3 so it is easier to get a higher rank there
if you have been >=diamond in the past you will always get back with little effort, that is when the game actually starts, people below diamond aren't able to carry out build orders or get their money below the thousands in the midgame
