MGE is plenty dark as it is though. Any Lilim or significantly powerful monster could monsterize entire towns or cities. No human is capable or willing to stop rampant monsters because they’re easily seduced. The gods are at war with each other. Eldritch deities with no discernible motive lurk in the dark. I don’t see the value added in a lotus-eater like indoctrination, as it would ruin the main appeal of the series.
