Surprisingly, the twitter account didn't even announce that 1.1.1 is live. They are usually punctual.

Also why can't you hear the voiced lines for a blade's affinity chart ever again once they're finished. Not like it'd be the first bizarre omission of QoL features this game offers.

It's possible that it's not live in Japan. Sometimes patches aren't released at exactly the same time.

Release them back into the pool. The more rare blades you own, the harder it is to pull a rare blade at all. Always use Justice boosters on any rare or above core.

Also stop rolling on Rex. If you only have him and Nia, at least do it on Nia and then overdrive her to the person you want later. Nia is actually pretty good with KOS-MOS due to her high ether.

Overdrive protocol. Item required so you can transfer a blade to another driver. You can only find 3 of them in specific treasure chest. You get additional 1 each time you complete a driver affinity chart.

Remember to check the Expansion Pass tab for free gifts after 1.1.1. You get rare and legendary cores, and overdrives.

Idiots will claim that it doesn't do anything, but it increases the odds of you pull a blade of a particular element. That's extremely useful towards getting particular rare blades if you're pool is small because you can just keep using boosters for that blade's particular element to increase the odds of you getting it.

However you shouldn't grind for boosters for every core. Although you should use them for legendary core crystals and just release any 'bad' blades you get from rare and common cores as a way to get boosters.

How do I get a blade with the 'obvervation' trait? Can this trait even spawn in normal blades? I need it to progress further in the main story and already opened 40 normal and 8 rare cores.

If you mean 'keen eye', then it's only Brighid and a couple of rare blades, generics can't have it. I'm also pretty sure that you never need it to progress in the main story.

honestly, whenever I reach a wall like this I just take a break from the story and go play some sidequests and crack a few cores open and eventually you get what you need. It's more fun if you don't stress about trying to blaze through the story.

Honestly the story is really weak because the leads are terrible and uninteresting. Once I got past the first Morag fight, Rex was either bland as all fuck or downright annoying. The only one that can contribute anything to the conversation most of the time is Mythra since she was with Jin and the others. Everyone else usually just has their thumbs up their asses or doing something horribly mundane outside of the le funny scenes.

The Haze shit was really where it just dropped completely off table with me regarding Rex. He looked out of place screaming at Jin and they had him brooding afterward and it was just comical because I barely felt anything for Haze besides that she was a beautiful gal. And he looks like he's 12 and they were acting like he was this big boy during those scenes.

100'00G is considered a mindblowing fortune in Alrest. A Salvager can make a cold million in around a week easy, considering the time lapse during Rex's dives. They also constantly fight monsters and have infinite core crystals at their disposal. They should be running this shit.
