So I'm coming from FO3/FNV.
How the fuck did they mess up the A.I. in FO4 so bad? Are there any mods that improve their sneak detection, at the VERY LEAST? Everywhere when there are raiders right next to eachother even if you shoot with a non-supressed weapon at their buddy they either shrug it off and become alerted for a whoppin' five seconds and go back to their default stance.

Its literally the same thing in 3 and NV.

How is that any different? I seem to remember sneaking around with a loud hunting rifle in 3 and enemies act as you described. You know stealth is working if they don't go on full alert.

.283 actually has text in the main menu that says that its running, but it doesn't feel like its doing anything. Textures still won't load and the game still runs like ass in the city.

Yes it was. It was actually worse as NPCs would full on dodge bullets and slide across a room and still not shift to alert mode.

They detect you easily without the stealth perk. If you put points in the perk then it's doing its job.

In my opinion the AI is a vast improvement over previous games. Fire one shot and they go into alert mode but don't know where you are, fire a second shot from the same place and they'll start shooting at the place the shot came from even if they haven't detected you.

get either arbitration or any of the detection fixing mods, but implying that the AI was better in fo3/NV is just dishonest, in those two the enemies are only capable of running straight at you, in fo4 they at least run to cover and shoot from it

Ghouls probably don't really care one way or the other considering that there are no known ghoul synths.

Also, to that point, you'd think making a ghoul synth would be the best cover for getting information, literally no one would suspect it.

"MainMenuLoop.bk2" can be replaced by anything that you give that file extension to. It can just be a drag and drop replace job, not even a mod. Remember to save a copy of the original in another folder in case you want to revert though.

There aren't very many railroad members, and ghouls are supposedly a smaller population than regular humans so they would have a proportionally smaller representation in a given population. I assumed it was a coincidence that there were none, since that proportionally smaller representation just might round out to be 0.

Yes it does. I find it useful because it provides me with a map to glimpse at without having to open the pip boy. It is worse in that it doesn't pause gameplay during combat, though. However, if you configure your hotkeys correctly, it is ultra immersive. Nice to hear the world progress around you while you fuck around with your pip boy.
