Deception has utility, insane burst and single target dmg, but high skill ceiling, Madness wins in AoE and is more noob friendly tho

Tank Assassin is also good enough to carry you through all PvE content, its good in PvP but lately PT is better, its tied with Jugg in my opinion overall

I must be ass backwards, because despite knowing how to play Deception on my 70 and easily dealing with multiple enemies, I'm bumbling around on my Hatred 40 and seem to be having an easier time dispatching single mobs more quickly while having trouble with multiple.

I guess Deception is more sustained DPS despite Hatred's DoTs. That weird amalgamation with burst probably just feels like instant gratification because I haven't taken anything hardcore on with it yet.

Thats normal, if you played Hatred since lv 1 but then switched to Deception or any other really, you would feel the same thing

If you want a comfy time, play ranged classes since they are all stupidly easy to learn

Hatred is more fun and fits the class theme better with all the force abilities while deception smacks things.

That's why I play darkness with dps gear. Depredating volts isn't quite the same but close enough. Sorc would have range but doing dailies and stuff you can't beat the utility of stealth.
