After way too much hassle, I ended up finding the texture for the shawl and re-textured it a bit. Also managed to work out how to properly adjust the shawl onto the outfit so it didn't hover as much. Need to adjust it a bit more. Then also nifskoped Disciple gloves onto the outfit as well so I could stop wearing really out-of-place tactical gloves.

All-in-all, it helps the travesty that is my character.

Why is this bed perpetually owned after the Courier wakes up? Why is Doc Mitchell using it in this case, when he has that nice bed in the bedroom? I took these screens because I thought it was odd, I've never seen him use this bed before.

Also on a side note, would it be lore-disruptive or anything to have the Goodsprings Settler girl that gets bullied by Geckos head to Doc Mitchell's house and sandbox there instead of the house Trudy and Sunny go to? She's getting checked up after the Gecko encounter and often enough she's hurt so that'd make sense, and Doc Mitchell's house is huge and empty and an extra nondescript sandboxing in there make it seem not as lonely. Also the house Trudy/Sunny stay at is stupid as it only has one bed but apparently three residents, while the smaller house Easy Pete goes to has 3 beds. I dunno if I want to start messing with AI packages though, that seems like it could drop into nightmare mode easily.

Good job finding the scarf and the initiative, looks decent. Only thing I can nitpick on is the specular on the new gloves are super shiney, that could maybe be toned down. Also the transition of the scarf and shirt is a really sharp seam.

I don't know how tenable it is because I haven't seen the UV map for the scarf, but you could maybe give the scarf mesh a NiAlphaProperty and edit the texture's alpha channel to fade out the edges of the scarf a bit, but again that might not be possible with that mesh and UV map. It might look like shit even if it did work as disguising mesh lines with alpha doesn't always work as you can still see "transparent" alpha surfaces depending on the lighting and VFX in a given scene.

The texture edits you did are all solid though, subtle but small details that make it pop.

Are the UV maps for those bodystyles similar? Grab the body mod you dislike and take the texture from it and put it on the body you want if the UV maps line up. If not then yeah you're screwed if you can't into PS/Gimp/Paint.net.

Something like this? This is the specular map while it's raining so normally that tends to just whip the specular map into overdrive. I just slapped the _s into Photoshop and turned down the brightness a bit. I didn't realize until after now that I could've just edited the specular map strength in nifskope, but eh. I'm more familiar with Photoshop.

I wouldn't mind doing that, I just sort of have no clue how to do so. However the scarf is primarily that "sharp" because it's actually clipping a bit. I just made the attempt to move it down and it went a bit too far. I'm doing it blind with no reference to the model, so it's a bit of a hassle. If nothing else, I might try to just texture some torn cloth at the bottom of the texture to emulate the effect you mentioned.

The doc is a great husbando. There's a big age difference, but connecting on so many things that really matter is more important.

Well, move into Starlight Drive in. by pure happenstance, the majoirty of my settlers there have been female. So i decided to give them outfits with my muscular bodyslides to them. set them all on guard duty while the few males do menial tasks like work the fields and salvage.

Also another thing I didn't mention when replying to the complaint about using SO, is that setting up NV and playing it like a run-or-rape type game (weak combat character, negative consequences for getting defeated) I think makes game a lot more fun, especially early game for the Nth playthrough. You have to be much more careful, and you feel a lot fucking worse getting you and your companions in a nasty situation and getting your shit stolen because you didn't gitgud, then you do just dying and loading last save.
It's not as bad as losing a battle in M&B Dickplomacy, getting gang-raped by Steppe Bandits, dragged around for two weeks, then left in the middle of nowhere surrounded by worse bandits. You really feel like shit then.

I found that one of those mood mods like true storms would break intermittently, I had this vertical line going up and down the screen when I looked in some directions where it was clear the 'weather' was just some effect filter that bugged out
