This little shit ruined the entire planet

This little shit ruined the entire planet

>hey guys, we're having a workers revolution! How do we inspire them?
>Lets follow in the footateps of the worlds best rebellion and massacre tens of millions of people!
>What if capitalist nations just prop up asset holders via black markets?
>Just kill them, haha!

If he didnt exist, commies wouldve had a chance in the cold war.

lol who cares about your commie shit

>It's Robespierre's fault that others copied his methods without understanding the context
except for the Cult of the Supreme Being. That shit is inexcusable, and the only reason it isn't totally garbage is because it's a step down from the Cult of "Reason"
Of course commie sympathizers would look for outside excuses to blame the collapse of their shitty ideology. The well was poisoned, true communism has never been tried, blah blah blah.

Robespierre enforced Terror (which, in his vocabulary, was but swift and unflexible justice) as a reaction to Coalition-financed royalist uprisings while the country was literally at war with all of Europe. It's 'spectacular' death toll (pro-tip: less than the number of men who died in one day at Austerlitz) included the uprisings in Lyon, Toulon and the Vendée. The only flaw with the Reign of Terror, though a very big one (though debatably a justifiable one considering the state of emergency) was the lack of fair trial. Compare Lenin's little slaughterparty and Marx's slaughter party on steroids, both of which started and continued in times of peace when Russia was entirely out of harm's way (the Russian Revolution ended WW1's eastern front, remember?).

But please, keep blaming eveything but communism. What next, Rousseau inspired totalitarianism? Napoleon III's socialism ruined communism?

Cia sad market subterfuge was much more drastic, perhaps not in terms of ratio but certainly scale.

They need only contain the system from global markets and they will whither.

There is literally nothing wrong with the cult of the supreme being.

>workers revolution

You mean middle class parasite urbanites revolution

Read your post wrong, but yea there wasn't anything wrong with the cult of the supreme being.

Without Robespierre the Russian Revolution would have never ended with communists being in power. It would have at best ended with a shitty consitutional monarchy like in britain. Most of the old bolsheviks were trying to improve on the French Revolution. They didnt think the terror was a bad thing, and to be honest the only problem with it is that it got out of control. Which it didnt under lenin's control. The major problem with the bolshevik model, and there was more than one, was the forced unity of opinion first by only allowing the bolshevik party and then by banning factions within the party. This allows one person to game the system, ie stalin. There were no checks or balances. What the party said was law, and the leader of the party decided what was said.

What do you mean OP? He seems like a perfect example of Communism

>terror wasnt out of control with the bolsheviks
Is this a joke?

>Lenin had things under control

Lenin had the entire Royal Family massacred in a basement. That was the stupidest decision the Bolsheviks made, the Russian Orthodox Church later canonized those dead Romanovs

>That was the stupidest decision the Bolsheviks made
How? It may have been immoral or whatever, but it worked out pretty well for them.

Isn't an armed political revolution just a martyred war where chaos breaks through and all parties try to aim to the top?At least in nation-states .

> putting words in my mouth
I said it didnt get out of control under lenin. After he died it got out of hand. Im not saying there wasnt any "terror" with the cheka, Im saying it was pretty normal for a revolution. Stalin let it get out of control purging the entire party and sending a large portion of the population to the gulags.

How was that the stupidest thing aside from your own baseless emotional attachement to nicky? And who the fuck cares what the russian orthodox church does?
There were multiple attempts to free the roya family and as the civil war was raging and they were a symbol of hope for a small faction of the white army most people in that leadership position would have had them executed. Yes the entire family because if you know russian history then you know any relative has a legitimate chance at trying to claim the throne later.
I've talked to many people who whished they werent executed and to people who thought it was excessive but no one has ever said it was "a stupid idea."

Then we'd all be lazy assholes.

>implying Robespierre did ANYTHING wrong

Fuck off monarchist scum

Robespierre didn't do anything wrong. He was weighed down by the incompetence and corruption of those around him.

Of course not
>We now have this full retarded state atheism cult
>That doesn't work, it's retarded and has no solid foundation for objective morality
>We COULD go back to a more moderate form of Catholocism that invests very little or no temporal power in the clergy
>OR we could start a new cult that makes me the new prophet.
Like some other revolutionary (I forgot his name) said, the poor bastard tried to turn himself into Moses.

On top of that, most of the excesses of the terror could've been avoided by simply tolerating Christianity. Sure, the hard core of the royalist uprisings were loyal to the crown, but many of the peasants who went along with it just wanted to go to church again.

Gloire à Robespierre, grand homme admiré par les braves et les clairvoyants

pleurnichez davantage bande de salopes

Glad not everyone here is retarded

Robespierre is literally god

>When Russia was entirely out of harm's way
Yeah, except for a civil war.
