Had a match where I could only see and kill one player and vice versa, everybody else was invisible, and their ink didn't paint on my client although I could see magical shots flying everywhere. Weirdest match of my life.

What does weapon freshness mean or what does it do?

Anyone has their switch wired to Wi-Fi? Does it improve connectivity on Splatoon?

How gud you git with the weapon. Also adds a nice XP/Gold bonus when you achieve it. I guess it's their way to encourage us to try new weapons.

Interesting that you couldn't get killed directly by any of the ghost players' shots, and that a ghost holding the rainmaker would just appear at their own base.

If you're not a shitter, the only weapon you want to have any sort of freshness on is Jr you used for first 10 levels.

About weapon freshness: does the exp/cash bonus apply to all game modes, or only turf?

If the former, then I might as well put in the time to make my favorite weapon fresh.

Only Turf War. It's really not worth the effort when your guns start levelling up past raw. You lose more than you gain at that point, and you barely get any more cash for a bonus than just playing ranked.

But almost all of the others are lewd, friendo.

What a shame. Levelling/money grinding is really slow for me since I have no tickets. I just want to play Ranked and get everything.

You gain ONE boost in cash/XP (4500 I think?) One time ONLY. As in, the first time you raise it's freshness. It doesn't stack, or give anything else aside from that.

Play Salmon Run more.

The only crime is that she isn't in more of the game. Reminder that you do save her since using a Callie or Marie amiibo before the game gives you a "we're busy call back later" message. Using the amiibos after the game causes them to show up in their original forms, more than implying that they're the real squid sisters.

It's definitely a shortcoming on their part that they bothered to put Octavio back in the snow globe even though when you go and play the final boss he's presumably back out again, yet they did nothing with Callie. The snow globe thing goes back to the original game and he breaks out before the events of 2, so they probably just thought it was important to reference that. It's strange that they don't actually show the broken snow globe in the beginning though.

There's a lot that they could have done with it and just didn't. It follows the formula of the original campaign exactly even to the amount of levels and bosses. Feels like they were under time pressure to get it out to support the Switch's first year and the first thing to skimp on would be the single player since it's of lesser importance. I have to think that they at least had a Callie mini-boss stage planned. She pretty much doesn't do anything in the actual game.

With arguments like these you may as well answer "Use Splattershot" to any "How do I" question. I mean, it's applicable when weapons are similar but one is better (-How do I Aero RG? -You pick L3 instead), but Dynamo is weak yet fairly unique.
