So how important is NP2 Alter Lancer? I know it's 100% more damage, but which fights will it matter on? Is it something as easily noticeable as farming dailies or is it something to fight against certain bosses, or what?

The 5* tier list skews right if you flip it on its side, but the 4* tier list doesn't. Should DW actually try to make more good 5* or is this a business strategy?

She won't have any trouble doing dailies after her NP interlude at NP1, which is what you'll mostly use her for anyway. If you're using her for real content you're using her for those gigantic crits, not for a mediocre AoE NP. Bring Scat if you want to obliterate Gil.
