What really bugs me is people who think they are MLG enough to kill Dancer at low level, but still find the need to summon phantoms for bosses.

I personally like the style chosen for the execution, the long drops, thick coiled nooses and the blindfolds although he overuses them a bit.

I can understand the hosts in this one because if you need to do multiple runs to Dancer especially lowish level, you don't want to get raped by the Lothric Knights while waiting for the guy to be summoned in.

If i wanted to low level invade, what SL should i be at? Also can i beat the entire game before i invade on said low SL in DS3?

If you're getting raped by lothric knights, you shouldn't be fighting dancer at low level.

SL20 with+2 gets you action in High Wall / Settlement and Road of Sacrifices Swamp and possibly Cathedral / Farron keep as well which is good because the Road of Sacrifices is insanely active and you'll often have backup from the watchdogs.

It should be reasonably doable considering that I'm most of the way through the game on base level character.

Low-level invasions are around the SL30-45 range with a +3 to +6 weapon.

Beating the game at that level though, is reserved for if you're actually gud. If you can do it without needing to summon buttbuddies for each zone and boss, then all the more power to you.

It's a long and pointless chore, why would anyone fight them when you're facing dozens of runbacks?

If you fight the Lothric Knights you're wasting extremely precious Estus / health every time you want to summon so it's better to just grab a summon at Bort's.

That is not what the initial argument was about, it was about people who summon at Vordt's fog instead of Dancer's and I told you know as a host summoning at the Dancer's fog is an annoyance.

I don't summon for bosses in Souls so I don't really need to summon, but I co-op with other people sometimes so I get to see what tends to be a problem spot for some hosts.

Getting summoned at Vordt to fight Dancer is an even bigger annoyance. Boo fucking hoo, you have to kill 2 low level lothric knights so you're able to peacefully summon people for dancer. What a humongous shitter. Instead of wasting your own time, you waste other people's.

And I'm level 30. Literally half the SL you need for dancer, or even less than that.

That's probably fine. SL 30+2 was my go-to for the Swamp and Cathedral, but that was well over a year ago when matchmaking was less stringent and there were more people playing.

I only ever played the original DaS2 on PS3 and I decided I wanted a refresher and picked up SotFS on PS4.

They're both gross. Raw DSA + pine resin has a ridiculous AR, and it still hits like a truck even though it's split damage. Vordt's charged attacks + frostbite can one shot people if you're low enough SL, but nobody gud will let themselves get hit (other twinks will be a problem).

Just because you can't make the sliders work, doesn't mean that it's impossible to make good faces with it. This game is not a waifu simulator, if you want that then maybe Skyrim is more your speed.

SL60 after pontiff's. It's literally impossible to go through that area while dried fingered and not get invaded. If you summon one phantom while dried fingered, invaders will come even faster.

I'm SL30+1. I'm tired of all these fuckers summoning me for dancer. For every 1 vordt host, there's 3 dancer hosts.

Booting up DS3 for the first time (with DLCs). Played ~300 hours of Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2. What am I in for? Any small tips (no spoilerino please) for getting started? Thinking of doing a classic Zweihander (if it exists) Str/Faith build for my first playthrough.

You’re in for DS1 again but with hyper fast bosses and weak sorcery, faith zwei is still very possible

The final Lord of Cinder you have to kill is Lothric and his brother Lorian.
The final boss of the game is Gwyn.
The boss of the first DLC has three phases.
The boss of the second DLC is the guy who's been helping you through both DLCs.

You're in for lots of enemies REEEEEEEEEEEEEing, things flying at you at 5,000 mph and 50 million DS1 references that'll try to make your nostalgia boner go into overdrive.

As it usually happens with Souls games, it's just about learning the patterns, the thing that kept fucking up my attempts was the quick fly-swatter type slam she does in the second stage if you're attacking her butt.
After learning the pattern there's really no reason not to kill the hag and the dancer early.

Sorcery isn't recommended, except maybe weapon buffs, an early spot to farm embers (The equivalent of Humanity/Effigy) are the Knights when you first get to Lothric.

There are plenty of optional areas.

You can hit chests again without fearing them breaking like in DaS II.

yeah, you could place a sing in front of the dancer and that's better... but usually people place their signs closest to the bonfire, if i wanted to be summoned for dancer, i might place it in front of vort, just because i'm lazy enough to fight the knights and i know the summoner would see my sign, he's pretty close to it, there's no way to miss it.
