I tried customer servicing to get an old purchase refunded, and google gave me 20$.I had three friends try it with a similar story and they also got 20$ each in google play credit.

Try this guys, email both the dev and google about some old purchase made during the thanksgiving update. Site that you made a purchase in error because they flippled the shop menu from Lowest to highest to highest to lowest. They won't refund the purchase but google will take pity and send you 20$. Just be polite and stress to google how you think it was unfair that the devs didn't make mention in any patch notes the payment options and how you only found out now after checking your bank statement/ checking online.
