It's actually kind of amazing what sort of awful potato laptops can play WOWS, also its a game that's very forgiving for bad internet connections

The De Grasse is a great ship IMO, especially if you like playing a fast ship that starts a lot of fires

It's a simple term with a simple concept but autists have twisted the term to discredit players.

Depending on the calibre you have and what the enemy ship is, it's not worth going for it if you can't penetrate it.
For example, small calibres can't pen a Yamato belt, so instead of letting all shells shatter and deal 0 damage, you aim for the bow (less armored but thick enough to to penetration damage) or the superstructure (very thin armor but saturated most of the time since everyone and their mother is shooting it).

Yes. It is thickest precisely because parts of ship that it protects are so vital.
If shell hits soy sauce or wine storage it is sad but you can live, so you can sacrifice armor there.
If it hits engine, you are screwed, since you won't be able to move.
If it hits shells storage, you become HMS Invincible.

There isn't a single non-premium Russian ship (except Moskva) in the game past T6 that isn't unfun, broken to the point of unplayability or just plain inferior to everything in its tier.

Jap BBs are fun to play. Except T9 Izumo.
Russian CAs require a lot more from you to not die from random shit. If played right, you can burn everything down to ashes.

Fun starts with Kongo and ends with Nagato, and depending on personal taste with the Amagi: Izumo is one of the most painful ships to play I've ever encountered, and Yamato has been powercreeped into oblivion (she's still relaxing to play, but "fun" is still a bit too much)

Sushi has ZERO(0) AA, but Hotel has shit AA anyway. Highest Alpha per shell with guns that overmatch everything, but longer reload and worse sigma, but equal max dispersion. Same health pool, and same armor lay out I think. She'll probably dump on t7s harder than MO does now, and as long as she has accurate 18in guns she'll wont be bad

T7 easily outdpms every other tech tree cruiser of its tier, while having the fastest shells, most range , and most fires per minute. Its AP is also good.

T8 has radar nearly 2km longer range than its detection, and is only beaten by IFHE 155 Mogami in DPM/tied with IFHE Kutuzov, again top tier firestarter and plenty of range to give you dodging room.

Donsk is probably the weakest of the RU cruisers only because it trades the IFHE 152s for 180mm, which puts its DPM and fires per minute more in line with all the other nations cruisers instead of significantly better.
