/feg/ I came from a near future to say, don't spend your orbs till the anniversary banner coming up.
Alfonse will be a armor unit, Sharena will be a horse unit she will get staff'd, Archer Anna and Veronica as a dagger unit with lethality and a summoner doll as a weapon.
There will also be a new voting gauntlet for the banner, and a crossover with a unexpected game, great things to come soon.

These are strictly NAfags who only know about the JP client on a very superficial level and think that Merlin is the only example of powercreep. Not to mention that Okita absolutely shits on every existing Saber on the NA client and the only reason why they aren't losing their minds over here like JP did is because they know even stronger Sabers will come out in the future

Here's a really basic example of powercreep in FGO. Charisma was already a very powerful skill in FGO. A bunch of limited, swimsuit characters got this skill which is the exact same effect but with an additional effect for absolutely no reason.

There just aren't gatcha games that suffer from powercreep, period. FEH is going fast, but FEH also introduces new units far more rapidly to the game than other gatcha titles. FEH also has a problem where the game is way too fucking easy and lacking in content so all they can really do is appeal to whales/autists who need to have the absolute best units at all times. But don't believe people playing NA FGO who boast that powercreep isn't a thing in their game. They will learn soon enough.
