Medic is rewarding when you have an actual team that you can rely on somewhat. In a pub setting where most of the players are braindead or are off doing their own thing without playing near the team's medic, it would make sense why medic sucks cock to play as. It's common knowledge at this point, just don't go medic unless you need to.
