It's an alternative to ATLAS that you don't have to install. Just the JP-EN core of it that only works as a machine translation "plugin" of TA.

You don't, but it won't hurt to have another offline translator, so you should install it anyway. LEC doesn't like long strings of kana.

Set the date on your PC to 2015 or whatever the trial expects to install it.

Run this update, and it will create a directory next to it and extract itself in there. Run the extracted exe to apply the latest/last update.

Then find any ATLAS V14 torrent with the crack included and overwrite two legit DLLs in ATLAS directory with cracked ones. I'm sure you can find them somewhere in the OP too.

Chii Lite doesn't install on Windows XP, which is what you seem to be using. The official website is wrong. Use AGTH or ITHVNR to hook games and (whatever engines work in) TA to translate them. If there's some garbage in the hooked text, TAHelper can clean up the clipboard for you.
And no, I don't think it gets any simpler than making a text hooker copy the text to the clipboard for TA to translate it.
VNR is dead by the way, don't bother with it.

I still find ATLAS to be the best solution, I've tried LEC but it's bugged as hell and loves to crash when too much text is inputted at once.
Plus it won't use the custom dictionary if you're translating using external software, which is a pain if you want clipboard filtering and need to use TA.
Speaking of which how is it possible that cancerous bloated piece of shit that is VNR with all its countless useless features doesn't posses a decent filtering system like TA, it's beyond ridiculous.

There are hook codes for old versions of Wolf in one of the bins. They are optional iirc, as they only clean up UI spam you'd get in AGTH otherwise.

New Wolf requires custom hook codes, and if no one posted a hook code for your particular game in Hongfire/ULMF/here/somewhere else, you're fucked.
