Well think about it - Illidan is a dindu nuffin, Kael just went with him for power, Azshara did the same with the BL, DW and his 50 kids fucking sucked, Garrosh was forced to do his shit by the writers, Archi and KJ again sucked Sargeras' felcock for power. Arthas is the most iconic dude for WoW - decent backstory, motivations, actions and you can really feel him there throughout the zones.

Before a new expansion is released is the best time to start but you should wait for 7.3.5 since the leveling is getting improved for new players.
7.3.5 should be mid january.
it's a very accessible game. leveling is being rescaled/fixed in patch 7.3.5, which should come out in one or two months. if you want to wait for a more optimal and immersive leveling experience with more people (because many people will be levelling the new subraces) then i would wait until then. i personally recommend you do this.
if it's not important and you'd just like to play, or if you would prefer to level very quickly, you can start now

Makes all zones scale so you can go anywhere to level but also finish zones without heavily outleveling them before you finish the story there.

note that wow leveling will still be very fast compared to ffxiv. it's just that right now it's heinously fast and you outlevel zones long before finishing them.

It's slower but still way faster than doing all the MSQs and reaching max level in Final Fantasy.
lightforged are raped by a naaru and turned into mindbroken lightslaves. draenei have only been mentally molested a little

otherwise you just play normally and parse well if you're skilled and geared
