76mm is best. Chart is dumb assuming only light armor and 1 enemy hit. Danmaku does 187.68 DPS on 76mm and you can control where it pierces, obviously best.

Akagi's personality, while awful, is amusing at least. Her VA could have pulled it off a bit better though.

Roll heavy construction until she's removed from pool. If you get her buy the skin, if you don't, then don't. Not rocket science.

Vestal or Akashi are shit for meeting the stat requirements though. I used that setup initially but then I had to use a bloated boss fleet to get enough stats, plus clear fleet had serious ambush issues. Sara/Shouhou/Aniki is working out way better for me now.

For anyone interested in SCIENCE regarding the new Fire Director from the CN event;

Only uploading one since results are pretty uniform the entire way around.
tl;dr version is that replacing a +10 chain loader with the new fire director will make the first volley about 2s~ faster, and the second volley will be pretty much almost exactly at the same timing as it was with the chain loader. Third shot will then, of course, be a little slower.
Tested the timing on both the mk6 and the 381mm, both with a chain loader to compliment the fire controller and without. Results were all pretty much exactly the same(or a small enough difference that it's within a fraction of a second and thus isn't really visible) across all variations of the test.

Conclusion? Pretty really good on Hood. General PVE use is definitely for clearing, barring possible situations where the speed is actually too fast to where it volley's at an empty field between spawns.
Probably not great on bosses due to the reload lag, unless you need the +hit rate(which it gives a shitton of) - and I'd only use it to replace a heavy shell in that case and not a chain loader.

Full auto, 82% evasion on clear fleet (should go up another point or two when I finish retrofitting Cygnet), 85% evasion on main fleet. Costs 29 oil for clearing and 46 oil for the boss

I could lower it a bit more if I swapped some boats around but this also lets me level 5 boats while grinding which, to me, is much more valuable than saving an extra 5-10 oil per run
