A few tips for new players
>You can change the resolution of the Steam version with DuelLinksConfiguration.exe in the game folder
>Create and link a Konami ID to play on multiple devices and save your progress in case of a crash
>Turn your battery/power usage bar up to max in the settings menu for a smoother experience
>When sending Vagabonds, always choose the 1 card challenge because it gives the most XP.
>Decide on what deck you want to build before spending gems.
>Level up Mai, Keith, Alexis and Odion first to unlock Windstorm of Etaqua, Metalmorph, Spell Shield Type 8 and Curse of Anubis respectively.

Been using this and it's pretty good, gets easy high attack values and of course there's the back row. You obviously don't need 3 magical something, any 4 star dark monsters will do

Wouldn't it also just naturally upgrade to level 5 once it's face-up and it reaches your next standby phase? Unless there's an effect cancel on the field or something.

What's your deck? From my experience fighting Sams they're pretty decent actually and have good comeback potential with Enishi.

carried by the trap cards obviously and its a pretty slow deck but once you're set you're pretty much unstoppable

That's how I feel about Sams from fighting them, I think they're the same as Glad Beasts but with less wiggle room in that once you get the initial momentum with them it is very hard to lose but that's dependent on getting the edge like every duel. Does Shogun Shien do much for you though, from what I've seen he's more a 'win more' card compared to Enishi who can actually get you out of tight spots.

Shien does help a lot from my experience. His effect is fucking great most of the time and he's a free big body 90% of the games i played the deck.

I have Brachio. Thing is the deck loses a lot of its power if the field is removed, so I would run 1 of it with a copy of the field.

But what I want the most is Spacetime Transcendence. It's fucking great to summon Super Conductor and bump Tyranno Infinity.
