im stuck on defiled hotdog, im use to saw cleaver tricked r1, but now im using a different weapon (spear) how do i hit his snoot?

If you've got a long enough weapon like tricked Bloodletter or LHB you can whack his face really easily by baiting him into the bite attack. For a short range weapon like the saws it's probably best to just go for the legs, wait for him to heal his weakspots, and repeat.

Well, I'm just doing the Lower Pthumeru chalice dungeon, on lvl 3, wouldn't mind co-oping it. But otherwise, wondering what the next logical step is after finishing lvl 4? Do I farm gems or move on to the next chalice? The whole root/glyph thing is a bit confusing for a newfag.

How far are you in the main game?

You can do level 4, then move on to the next chalice until completion. There's no sense to farm early dungeon chalices for gems. Just rush to FRCs and get the BiS gems.

You can do the defiled chalice after that, though I think you might need some materials from loran. You can just buy the materials from the insight messengers though.

I agree, the voice actor for Abhorrent Beast was really solid. Easily my favorite lines for the game.
Actual favorite boss is a toss up between Ludwig and Gehrman. Love the music, and love the fights themselves.

Least favorite boss is Micolash, I hate boss fights where it's not a traditional boss fight (bed of chaos, micolash, dragon god, etc)

micolash was a real pain for me too, i dont know if it was bad luck but that fight seemed really buggy. i'd chase him to spot then he'd jump in a mirror and leave, rinse and repeat that step for 40 minutes until i finally kill him. not fun.

Yes. You must have created a FRC Isz (least materials required) chalice once you've obtained ALL root chalices. Ihyll Root, Lower Loran Root, and Isz root
With those in inventory, they will all get unlocked upon making A FRC isz. What are you, a newfag?
