just got this game today, any tips on motion controls? i play handheld mostly. coming from pc to owning a switch in only a day or two makes me feel like pic related.

Have you tried with separated joycons? Made it less weird for me.

So I just bought a Switch for Christmas and I've been playing the hell out of it, mostly Mario Odyssey and Splatoon.

Maybe if I put it down for five minutes I could get more drawings done.

play the story mode to get used to the motion controls.
switch the sensitivity between story matches to find the one fit for you.
I dont recommend handheld mode that much though

i forgot about the story mode. i'll give that a try. i didn't really try separated joycons since handheld is a lot more comfortable for me and i kinda dislike the tabletop mode with the stand. i'll give it another try, though.

I think most people do large turns / navigating with the sticks and use the gyro for aiming within your current field of view, like a tank with a turret.

Splat1 era was fun but I don't mind Splat2 /ink/ too much. It's fun in a different way. Luckily I never been too attached to /ink/ in terms of squading since I got irl friends that are into Splatoon and the amount of squading is noticeable lower and the main people who do squad are discordfags so no luck there.
