Thanks user for posting your Storm Haven deck yesterday. Went from sub 50 playing my tempo storm deck to over 70% in A1. So far worst winrates seem to be against Elana and Roach so I might tech in star torrents against Roach.

Unlimited is the Rick and Morty format where you can do 200 IQ roach combos

Mars snowballs so hard if you don't have your hungering/zombie party/salamander to save your ass. Jeno is a 5/2 meaning you can't 1 damage ping meaning you have to play multiple cards and evolve if you want to remove Jeno and Mars. 90% of the time though against Shadow both hedgehog and mars gets zombie party'd and I lose on the spot.

Glad it is working out for you. I've been playing unlimited all day today and I haven't faced any forest decks that weren't neutral but I did face a few aggro blood decks and star torrent would've been good to have. Still, even those aggro matchups were quite close and ultimately decided by luck mostly. About your inquiry about the portal and dragon matchups, I can say that the deck can hold its own against both, even against the fastest ramp dragon deck that heals for more than half its health in a game. In the last game I had against such a deck, my opponent healed for 14 hp and I still managed to win albeit barely and with a bit of luck.
The elana matchup is unfavorable so there isn't much to do about that other than trying to burn them faster that they can heal and making value trades.

I pulled 2 Aria and at this point I wish I pulled 2 Insect King's instead. Aria's use is limited in Rotation with so many good cards gone.

Man, after having tried a LOT of portal in ranked, I gotta say the class just doesn't cut it even in rotation, let alone unlimited.

Overall, the class is just underwhelming. The ONLY two cards that really impress are Deus, Acceleratium, and Substitution. Literally everything else is underwhelming when you compare to other classes.

Really the problem is that Cygames designed portalcraft a lot like they designed the other classes at release - with only a few standout cards. But this isn't good enough when every other class is using their standout cards from MANY expansions.

The end result is this terrible situation where nearly every card in the metadecks of other classes is a standout card from the set it was released in. That is, every single card is great and fulfills a definite purpose. Meanwhile with portalcraft you have to throw in totally meh cards because... there are no other options.

And in the end your ONLY semi-viable deck is the Deus deck which is inconsistent as fuck compared across classes, because it is totally reliant on drawing Deus, Accel, and Safira at the right times, but you can't tutor them and all your draw is for artifacts. Oh, also, you constantly clog your fucking deck with artifacts while you ALSO need to draw your key cards.

And even when everything works as planned and you have your infinite artifact train rolling, it still takes SO FUCKING LONG to get enough artifacts dead for safira to kill (because your chip damage is GARBAGE), that any deck with its own combo is almost guaranteed to kill you first. Ramp dragon just absolutely turbodumpsters you before you can even get rolling - and even if you somehow did, they'd just Baha your fucking Acceleratium.

Puppets also disappoint because your max combo out of hand on an empty board is 11, which isn't very fucking good at 9 mana. Good luck sticking Ephemera or even safely playing it to do a bigger combo. Meanwhile your ability to output chip damage is absolutely trash.

Why are the january sleeves so bad. How do they even choose them? There are so many cards with beautiful artwork and somehow they always choose the worst.

If A3 is anything like AA3, then just play Control/Wolf Forest with Starry Elf. Wolf is better against Dragon/mirror, Control is better against the field so depending on the meta just do that. It does well enough against Shadow with Starry Elf, Elf Queen/Aerin shutdown anything other than the nuts Burn, and the combo lets you OTK Dragon's infinite heals.

Like speaking of Bahamut, what the fuck are your removal options as portalcraft? Otherworld rift... and puppeteer (which sucks). That's it.

Compare to every other class which have 5 fucking expansions worth of removal with different properties to slot into different decktypes. For instance, sword has maisy, cuhullin, momo just in rotation - before even considering unlimited where you also have Tsubaki and even shit like Giant Slayer. Not that anybody ever used Giant Slayer - but portal might if it could, because it's THAT FUCKING HARD UP for low cost removal options.

And you can do the same thing across nearly every card role and class. Other classes have like 20 options for any given thing they want to do, most of which are mediocre, but which still leaves them with 3-4 spectacular choices.

Portalcraft has like 2 or maybe 3 cards for any given slot or purpose and if they aren't good enough to compete with other classes shit tough fucking shit.

The only place portalcraft excels is in Take Two, because although few of portalcrafts cards are super great, almost none of them are absolutely egregiously terrible. Meanwhile other classes have TONS of almost unplayable garbage cards clogging up their drafts. Most importantly, the VAST majority of portalcrafts bronze and silver pool are vanilla-test passing low cost minions. Thus, portalcraft is remarkably consistent in take two just because they are almost guaranteed to be able to draft a reasonable curve of passable creatures.

11 face damage for 9pp isn't good when your deck has nearly 0 opportunities to get chip damage, and is nearly entirely reactive on the board because puppets disappear at the end of your turn.

So you do your 11 damage combo, which leaves only a 3/6 on board behind... and then, assuming your opponent doesn't immediately kill you, you have no further fucking reach because you just used up your puppets.

I mean I welcome you to take a puppet list into ranked. I did, at 5.5k masters. I tweaked it a lot, but could never get above 40-45% winrate (when with other decks I'm 60+% plus) even as I gained experience with the deck.

Puppet Control is actually playable but there's literally no reason to play it over Dragon which does everything it does better besides having banish. Putting that 4PP guy that adds Radiant Artifacts in the deck so Safira doesn't have to do everything isn't that bad though but you still run into the problem of having to rely on DEM to win.

I'm already on 2000 coins, I also haven't done the level 140 for most leader and also haven't done like 10 private match achievements.
I can't wait for not getting her.

I managed to get Cerb from free packs, so I still have almost all my level up dosh to spend on trying to get Moon.
