Tom Kalinske and SoA wanted Sega to collaborate with Sony after Nintendo turned down the idea of the Nintendo Playstation. SoJ called it a ridiculous idea and turned it down. Then when Silicon Graphics offered to use their technology for the upcoming Sega system in development SoJ turned it down wanting to keep it in house, giving the technology to Nintendo who would use it for the Nintendo 64. Saturn would get outsold by both the Playstation and Nintendo 64 before Sega finally backed out of the console race when it was clear the Playstation 2 was going to be a major success.

Is it even possible to waifu Honey? Because she never appeared in a game proper (and is already based on an existing character) she has less to like than Blaze. Unless she made some other appearance that I missed.

Sonic Rush wasn't made by Sonic Team, and the Game Gear games will never be canon, nor will Sonic Team or Sega acknowledge them outside of putting them in collections and Virtual Console. Also, Rush was in Generations 3DS.

Is Colors DS canon? If not, then by process of elimination, Rivals is the only other game the current Silver appears in prior to the Generations, so it must be canon for Silver's appearance and depiction in Generations and Forces.
