I would like to ask you guys about the D-Pads on the 3DS and 2DS range of handhelds. I've actually never owned one, but I have played on every other Nintendo system.
-The original fat Nintendo DS d-pad is my favorite. It's big and tactile. The fat DS's d-pad is strikingly similar to the Xbone controller's D-pad. I love it.
-The DS Lite has a tiny mushy d-pad. You hold right and the up and down buttons are partially going down with it! BLEH, I say. I do not like it.
-The WiiU Gamepad's d-pad is larger than the DS Lite's d-pad and feels a little less mushy, but it's still pretty bad.
-I actually haven't played any games on the Switch yet, but I held it in my hands for a few minutes and think the D-buttons is a novel concept. They felt good to press. It's like the Hitbox of D-pads. I would really really like to try playing a fighting game on it.
Back to the main topic, I'm sure that the D-pads on the 3DS and 2DS handhelds vary. How do they feel? Do any of them have the tact of an original fat DS's d-pad?

Any DS aficionados in this gen? I just beat Pokemon Black 2 on my phone emu and I actually liked it very much, hadn't played any pokemon since gen IV and it felt like a breath of fresh air. How the flying fuck do you transfer your data between SD cards when you want to upgrade the size and NOT have your switch throw a bitch fit?
I thought it would be like the 3DS where you just transfer it whole sale and put in the new card. NOPE, says the card is unreadable.I then use the system format for the new SD card on the system itself and then redownload all the files onto it. NOPE, says its unreadable again.
I'm check the Nintendo website and trying the SD Card Formater. But in case that goes to shit, how many save files would I lose or if I just transfer my album, I could redownload all the patches and other games?
1. Switch games by AAA debs are bloated and not optimized so you get 20+GB files. A game like NBA 2k18 has a 5GB save file the must stay on the internal memory.
I got a 200GB microSD and after formatting I was left with 180GB.
Or if you're gonna skip big games and just get indie stuff it's usually less than 1GB per game.
You can paste card data to a bigger card.
