The launcher isn't doing shit for me, and before this I've always just downloaded the newest version client and it's ran fine

no, when you smelt a particular ore in osrs, it will run until all the same ores have been smelted. when you fish in osrs, it runs until your inventory is full or you level up or run out of feathers/bait.

fishing is like that, smelting in that way is an ezscape exclusive feature
