Sim and RB share flight models, the only difference is that you get the Instructor to do most of the flying in RB.

I find the KV-1 series to be redundant after the solid shot buff. The French and British can one-shot them from the front at any combat range where the KV-1's gun itself is effective. Shit, the British and French can one-shot them pretty easily even at super long ranges, just aim for the turret face and it'll at least disable the gun even if you don't kill the crew. American solid shot is pretty good for this as well.

I'm seeing single KV-1s in the middle between 3 different tanks, one of which also being a KV-1 and they just duke it out until maybe 10 shots later when the one finally dies or he kills everything else. I'm using the M24 which has a good 100 or so penetration but I can't seem to do much to them, though that's probably because almost all of them I've faced come out of nowhere and one shot me.
And I've noticed that every single one either has a fuckload of snow rune decals or are bushniggers. It's stupid seeing two of them decked out in squatting instructions trying to kill each other nose to nose or side by side.

every APDS round in game from the ones used in WWII to the modern ones that are fired from L7 use same fucking modyfier when it comes to penning angled armor even tough they're almost different rounds

so when you fire from your Leo or Centurion and the round hits t55 or something bigger the computer calculates shot like the enemy tank was shot with WWII tier APDS thus not penning when in reality it should've went straight in like a knife in a hot butter.
I mean L7 was fucking designed to counter t55 at ranges up to 2000 meters yet in game it has trouble penning tank 200 meters away becasue it's 1 degree angled

The short of it is that there is a line of code for every 5 degrees, acting as a multiplier for armour v pen. EXCEPT. After 30 degrees, it doesn't jump to 25, but for some unknown reason)))))) goes to 29 degrees and the difference in the multiplier is stupidly huge.
Conveniently, a lot of Russian armour is sloped so that is just enough to fuck with APDS.

and i forgot to say, that russian ammo with HE filler does basically ignore all angled armor plates for "))))))))"-reasons
but this is all not intentional! no russian bias! move on!

The Russian N-37 cannon's fragmentation penetration is JUST enough to go through all the 8mm armour plates planes at its tier have behind the cockpit, even though it has less explosive power than the American M10. It's pure coincidence that the Russian round has significantly higher fragmentation damage and JUST enough penetration to get through the thickest armour plates at its tier for pilot snipes while the American competitor doesn't.
