I don't like nu-viper's nethertoxin at all, or nu-skeleton king. Tiny was an improvement, but if they rework PA or SF I will be sad. WK and viper just aren't comfy any more.

They are pretty balanced despite what I expect most people will tell you. Pangolier is played as an offlaner and willow is played as a support.

But now it feels like you have to use the active or else you're not playing the hero to maximum efficiency. And there's a feeling like you're maybe feeding gold whenever you summon them. It's just not comfy.

nullifier is the best item for low mmr matches. I always hated playing carry because enemy would just go shadow blade and I wouldn't be able to do anything. at least when I was 6 slotted and had no space for detection.
