The original ending is Aigis finally realizing and accepting a reason to live, unaware that said reason is dying on her lap. It has actual meaning to the plot and her character

P3P's endings go more in hand with the original vision. You can have Aigis do that shit separately, but what the scene was originally meant for the MC doesn't change. And you shouldn't be forced to sit there with her if you don't want to.

predictability isn't a flaw in of itself, there's a reason the old hero's journey structures persist after all. its more like pacing is so drawn out and the scene to scene execution is so bland that there's no joy in or even interest in seeing it unfold. like, with all the main characters you know they're all going to solve their problems and bring the emotional thread to a satisfying conclusion, there's no surprise on a fundamental level, but the details and the characterization are still engaging

it's a flaw when it tries to treat it like you're meant to be surprised, but nothing is surprising because of how predictable it all is. aigis has far more issues than just predictability though anyway.
