Anyone else missing vulkan on RPCS3? I updated my drivers yesterday and now this shit doesn't work anymore and the textures are fucked up...

why does byuu get mad whenever someone mentions bsnes mercury?

Left or Right?

no previous thread?

vita emulator when

right looks much better

Right

>le purple sky meme
right looks far better

Left.
You better stop posting this fat elf.

Right is more appealing to the eye.

Windows or Linux?
Nvidia or Ayymdee?

>regression has existed for at least 6 months
>"I know exactly what the problem is and how to fix it"
>still nothing has been done

Windows and amd, fuck amd tho. Rolling back the graphics driver solved the problem.

>he fell for the ayymd meme

>he fell for the nVidiot meme

enjoy having to install drivers on Linux instead of it just being plug-and-play

>linux

Did simias die?

Because he's a narcissist that want everyone to use his exact version. He doesn't truly care for what the end user wants.

wtf is this
I'm playing sonic adventure 2 on the gamecube and it keeps crashing on this stage (weapons bed). It crashes mostly in the beginning. the farthest I've gotten is shortly after obtaining a new equipment.

I've played other games with no problem but this game in particular crashes

Left seems like what I remember (purple sky, reds more like browns, etc) but right looks more like what might have been intended.

That's not true. He recommends people use snes9x for performance. He has an issue with mercury largely because of this shit: github.com/libretro/bsnes-mercury/commit/3e09e3a5b6279101997327e4c5b971c395e79ebb

Dolphin is low key an abhorrent pile of fucking dogshit.

Bud your version is several thousand commits out of date.

Disable Dual Core rendering, it's broken and the devs are too lazy to fix it

wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Sonic_Adventure_2:_Battle

Was that so hard?

>mfw emulating xenoblade at 4x native res 8x aa and all that shit with 60fps gecko cheat and custom textures for game textures and Xbone controller buttons.

Emulation was the correct choice

>Emulation was the correct choice

best flashcart for new2dsxl? thanks bros

There's a port on steam why aren't you playing that?

>xbone controller
gross

ok, I think that fixed it
thanks so much
I "updated" dolphin a week ago, I might of done it wrong.
I'll google later brb

>Dual Core Crashes
>Random letters and numbers missing
>There may be slow framerates as well. Getting the chao back in can be problematic, but has worked at least once
>Select the stage "Meteor Herd", and dig in the ground below the starting area. If done the game will crash

This emulator is a fucking minefield

dolphin-emu.org/download/ and then scroll down slightly. Sonic Adventure is still sort of fucked, but you really do want to be using the nightly dev versions.

>digital triggers
nah

RPCS3 performs better on Linux, running stuff like Nier on full speed whereas windows would run that at way less than that on the same hardware.

>there's a bug that effects this one game, so that means...
No.

>That's not true. He recommends people use snes9x for performance.
I believe that's just so he doesn't have to put up with certain complaints. To some extent i can understand why he wants people using his exact version, but it's greedy to try pressuring/expecting others to use your particular build. Making false claims about other people's product is pathetic too.

This is coming from a guy who primarily prefers standalone emulators. I'm still laughing at how the RA devs made significant improvements by doing obvious things like inlining functions. Just how bad do you have to be, to not inline bottleneck code?? What a joke Tbh pham. At this rate, it wouldn't surprise me if using a different compiler would also improve performance. A lot of these emudevs are amateurs.

Go ask the developers themselves. They will tell you nothing different.
I'd trust the word of someone working on the emulator over your retarded ignorance.

Is it not possible to browse Japanese Gamecube games on this site (LR) or is it just me?

Anyone know where I can find a cheat data base for DS and GBA games? There is a URL for a DS database built into DesMuMe but that page is long dead, it seems.

I think the one in Drastic is pretty robust but I have no idea how i would even begin to export it

They said it's a bug, and they're not sure what's causing it.
Linux doesn't magically give you 2x performance.

>They said it's a bug
yeah and AMD performing worse is just a bug too

>Linux doesn't magically give you 2x performance.
yes it does with "nopti"

bump

Are iPhone users sol when it comes to emulating?

Yep, unless you jailbreak.

Does Freesync not work on Retroarch or something? I have a 75hz monitor and I've turned V-Sync off, enabled Audio Sync, set audio_rate_control to false and video_refresh_rate to 75 and tried it at 60 and still get screen tearing using FRTC doesn't help either.

i've never run into the text issue personally, but i'm not surprised it requires safe texture cache because some other sonic team games do.

retroarch is shit with gsync and freesync. Ironically I think it's dynamic refresh that fucks it.

it's not great. some lighting and sound effects are fucked up. i keep it installed because there's some neat mods for it, but i usually play the gamecube version instead.

You're an idiot.

what games are you looking for?

風のタクト (Wind Waker) was what initially got me looking to see what was out there; I ended up finding it on a Zelda speedruning forum. For the rest I'm just going to go with the Wii/Wii U ports unless I happen to find another website.

i got all my japanese gamecube games from an asia romset torrent since it was the only way i could find killer7 a long time ago. then i just picked all the games i thought were interesting. it's slow, but after leeching for over a year i have most of the games i care about.

Hey guys what are the latest dramas

I simply don't understand why these morons release source code if they're going to take issue with people who decide to use it.

Byuu/mamefags/possibly others get mad at SP for using their shit and hogging the fame. SP gets mad at mobile/retrobox faggots who take his project and making money off it.

It's just hilarious

She's so deliciously chubby

vita emulator when?

>emulating a game that has a PC version

You chose to be retarded

the PC version is worse.

>chubby
fat girls are dirt-tier. Why would I put up with some stupid girl who doesn't even diet? Common bro.
This is the reason that the first world tries to curb the population. We don't need more fat, lazy people.

I like chubby it's not like she's morbidly obese

buddy, that elf is obviously off the rails and in cow-territory.
she probably smells like an armpit and leaves sweat-stains on the furniture.
disgusting.

Is the input delay in Splinter Cell Pandora Tommorow for the PS2 supposed to be this bad?

>playing a PC game on PS2

You CHOSE to be retarded

PC version has broken lighting.

If I try to use the bootleg fixes the game asks for a cd 3. If I try using a cracked exe to spoof a cd3 it gives a slew of other errors.

So shut up retard

Nah you're a retard.
pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Tom_Clancy's_Splinter_Cell:_Pandora_Tomorrow

Where do you think I got the lighting fixes and shit from retard.

I still get the cd3 error. Fucking retard

>breaking the crack with a graphic API wrapper
You will never be this bad at computers

Diet is only one aspect. Everyone should work off their calorie intake every day regardless of their diet. But that's just my opinion, and an offtopic one at that.

>fix is completely separate from game itself
>"it's causing a copy protection check failure"

It's called "RPCS3".
I'm having a Deja Vu now.
And I also had it yesterday.
And the day before that.
And practically the entire past week.
Seriously fuck you, you fucking retard.
You already know fucking perfectly the fucking answer, so stop fucking asking the exact same shit over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

I HATE IT

Even though already told you, I'll repeat it again so that you'll remember it.

Do not post that fat elf anymore, post healthy elves instead.

...

females need high bf% to menstruate correctly

I think left is more accurate, but I prefer right.

Stop posting this american elf

Is MelonDS worth using yet?

Why would you be against xbone when you're going to use more platter shaped trash anyways?

Mesen core is available for RA. Comparing it to Nestopia:
Pros - Better audio
-Konami translations work without having to fuck about
Cons - Uses y/b for controls instead of a/b
-NTSC filter has extra blur for some reason
Left

>Pros - Better audio

Pure placebo like everything else. Emufags are as bad as audiophiles.

Is Darkumbra pretty good as far as Wii U downloads go?

Does the dualcore rendering option even help with any game if you have a 7th 8th gen i5? Also does it make other games besides Sonic adv2 unstable when enabled?

>Konami translations work without having to fuck about
Like what? I've played Castlevania 2 and 3 translated with Nestopia and they played without issue. What're some that don't play well?

When I try to install an APK in genymotion by dragging/dropping it always displays a transmission error. I have no fucking idea what that could be since my internet connection works in genymotion itself. I have also installed ARM Translation 1.1.

Here's what it says word for word:

"A transmission error has occured. Please check your settings and/or internet connection and try again."

Any ideas?

Not really, some more demanding games might need it. Yes, aside from specific game crashes/hangs, it can cause a FIFO desync and crash anytime (though it's extremely rare).

Never

One of the main benefits of RetroArch is LOCKING the running rate to MATCH the refresh rate, and resampling the audio for any small change. Unlocking the refresh rate goes against its sync. So I'm really unsure why you'd want to.

wiiu pro has much better sticks, much better bumpers, much better dpad, face buttons are a wash.

The community fixed the absolute dogshit port of SADX, fixing whatever the problems SA2 has would be a walk in the park in comparison.

is there any easy way to find games in Korean?

Ive been studying Korean, and Id like to be able to emulate games in Korean, but I can only find English and Japanese.

Why not just go on Exhentai and filter all languages except Korean?

hard to study if im beating my meat, but thats actually a pretty good idea

>dude just look at child porn to learn a new language

guys one of my japan psx roms won't work- i got an japan bios, what else?

Why would you want to learn Korean?

does anyone here use kode54's foo_midi component for foobar2000? I just tried installing it but it won't load because of some missing dependency or it was made for another version of foobar, even though I have 1.3. I tried another component off his site and it works.

oh ya, the funny thing is that it works fine in Linux on wine but not windows.
