This litterally does nothing to help the issue. DDL has gotten better but I cant count the number of times I have had corrupt downloads and have neded to re-download gigs because of 5 MBs of bad data. Litterally no reason to not use a torrent for anything this size.

Its a mix of shitty ISPs and a spotty connection. For me torrents always work where as DDLs work about 70% of the time. The issue is that when I DL a file that is several GBs like some of the games in the bins, it is a pain to re-download them.

I have only one ISP in my area, believe me when I say that I have tried.
