This is sf5. Only like the upper level character and a few others have AA's worth a shit.

On the other characters there's lots of ways to "meme" approach"or abuse a characters lack of AA's (like the Vega vs Yun matchups in SF4)

you can't really deal with them if they're being used like that. that's when you make a read and jump or just keep moving forward until the ryu gets scared and starts anticipating a jump. you can try orochi in neutral too, it's lower commitment than jumping and goes through fireballs
