How do I get the most out of training mode? No matter which game I play I feel like I have no idea how to effectivly practice.

dont randomly hop into training and beat up the dummy for half an hour, unless you're actually new to the character and still need to practice your bnb combos.
otherwise you should first think of what you want to work on, then set up the dummy to do exactly that, and practice until you get it right consistently.
want to practice hit confirming? set the dummy to random block and practice by doing your confirm, then going into the full combo on hit or aborting on block
want to practice punishing something specific? record the dummy to do the move and immediately block after recovering from it, then practice hitting your punish without getting it blocked.
want to practice anti airs? record different jump timings and have the dummy alternate between them at random, then try to AA all of them on reaction.
you get the idea
