I just can't seem to stay interested in SMITE anymore. If someone misses the first push, it seems like they are just out of the game.

So, in a game like Smite does it do any good to have a "main?" Or even just a main role?

Main role is fine, it's important to have a strong idea on all the roles so you know what an ally might be doing or where an enemy might be if you can't see them on the map. Maining a god is a bad habit, just because there is normally a way to counter the character and in ranked where its a draft pick if you pick your main too early you could get countered and have less of an impact. Ideally I'd say have a favorite role or two but learn how to do all five and have 2-3 gods per role/class plus some extras in your favorite.

Provide some new content then, friend. We're trying to make Smite general great again!

The only thing I miss about Smite is Scylla and Scyllaposting but since I've moved to HotS I at least have Liliposting but it just isn't the same.
