Go look at the matchmaking in your region then compare it with streamers from different region, you can do the same for jive and see that in kekken you'll always fight the same people and have to wait longer.

I rarely fight the same people in Tekken and the wait times are short.

They obviously use different matchmaking systems due to not being made by same people.
Tekken MM system is obviously worse.

unlike in SFV where you can lose a billion points playing someone much worse than you, in tekken if you're not within 2 ranks the matches are meaningless so MM avoids making you play those matches. in T7 the equivalent of rookie vs a gold would take either of them like 128+ wins to rank up

Why doesn't every character have the range that Birdie gets off his normal moves?

It seems like there are two classes of character, one that gets actual range on their moves that they can do stuff with, like whiff punish and then a sub class of retarded monkeys with no limbs.

How are you supposed to whiff punish anything in this game if you have no range? If you and Zangief are on like 1HP, and he down backs and mashes LP, what are you supposed to do unless you're Birdie?
